 Minor Eye Conditions Scheme (MECS)

MECS is a service run in Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham & Southwark that provides assessment for many common (and minor_ eye conditions at local opticians. Patients can see which opticians in their area provide this service.

Emergency Eye Video Consultation at KCH

King's have started running a service where patients with eye emergencies can have a video consultation with an ophthalmologist between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. You just have to follow the link on the KCH page which takes you to a 'waiting room'.

Rapid Access Eye Service at GSTT

Emrgency eye clinic at GSTT that sees patients between 8.30am and 4pm. Used to be a walk-in service but now operating as appointments only during the pandemic, call the triage line or email them to refer patients and get appointments.
