Shout is a 24/7 UK crisis text service available for times when people feel they need immediate support. It is free to text from most major UK networks. By texting the service, a Texter will be put in touch with a trained Crisis Volunteer who will chat to them using trained techniques via text.

MoodGym - Online CBT for Depression & Anxiety
moodgym is based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy which have been shown to be successful in preventing and treating depression and anxiety. It costs about £20 (39 AUS$) for 1 year of access.

CALM - Campaign Against Living Miserably - Men's Mental Health website
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK and the cause of 18 deaths every day. Anyone can hit crisis point. We run a free and confidential helpline and webchat – 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about life’s problems. We support those bereaved by suicide, through the Support After Suicide Partnership (SASP).



Good Thinking UK website
Good Thinking is a unique digital wellbeing service designed to support Londoners who are looking for personalised new ways to improve how they feel every day. It offers safe, proactive, early intervention tools to help with the four most common wellbeing concerns: anxiety, depression, stress, sleep. Depending on your answers, Good Thinking will recommend five of its most appropriate resources you can explore on your own. There are over 120 resources available including mobile apps, websites, downloadable guides and more information about health services to consider. Most resources are free, some have a small charge, and some are made free if you access them via Good Thinking. Everything you do on Good Thinking is anonymous and all resources have been reviewed by a Consultant Psychiatrist. 

Digital mindfulness-based CBT (MCBT) that has been NHS approved. It costs £30 from the website.

Sleepio

Sleepio is an online sleep improvement programme which delivers tailored and engaging advice, 24/7. Self-funded.

SleepStation

Another online sleep programme, funded in lots of boroughs but not SEL unfortunately.

ReThink
Has information and advice about depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It also has factsheets on hearing voices, suicidal thoughts and self harm. There is a postcode search to find mental health services and local support groups in your area as well.

Mental Health & Money Advice is the first UK-wide online advice service designed to help you understand, manage and improve your financial and mental health. It has expert advice, free financial tools & calculators, sample letters & templates and useful contacts. Useful for ESA, PIP, Work Capability Assessment queries and more.
